Jerry died on 12-2-2011 at age 64 in Tallapoosa, Ga from Cancer. Jerry served for four years in the U. S. Marine Corps after high school, including combat service as a Corporal in Vietnam. He married Liz Jones, also a classmate from HHS-65, on October 3, 1975 and he helped raise her son John from a previous marriage. They moved to Tallapoosa, Georgia in the mid-1980's and they owned and operated the local NAPA auto parts store in the area.
