Raymond Pederson passed away in his sleep  in August 2021 from a brain hemorrhage after a simple fall. Ray lived in Louisville, Ky. where he owned and operated a BBQ restaurant. Ray is survived by two daughters, 5 grandchildren, and two brothers Larry and Ken. Ray was an extraordinary leader and beloved by many. He was a Captain on the Flamingo Elementary Patrol, President of the 9th grade class at Filer Jr. high, and President of the student council at Hialeah High School 1965 and also active with the HHS marching band.
